Metal stamping services by Herd Manufacturing Inc. focus on progressive and compound stamping, as well as blanking, coining, and forming. We are located in a 60,000 square foot facility with 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Using metals such as Hot Rolled Steel, Cold Rolled Steel, High Carbon and High Strength Low Alloy Steel as well as Aluminum, Copper, and Stainless Steel, our metal stampings can be applied to products used in, but not limited to, the Hand and Power Tool industry, Heating and AC Industries, Automotive, Appliance, and Lawn And Garden Industries, as well as assorted Hardware Industries. Our press speed is up to 150 strokes per minute in certain equipment, our largest tonnage is with a 300-ton capacity, and we can manufacture stampings in a bed size as large as 96″ x 48″. Herd has the capability to stamp materials up to ¼” thick. Also, our equipment can handle typical stamping tolerances as tight as +/-.005″, and also tighter if required by customer specifications.
